1997, offering quality and consistency to our clients.
The directors have thirty-years experience within the commercial/machinery/household
removals area and undertakes removal projects within the
United kingdom and Europe on behalf of regular clients
Capitol
has continued to grow on a year on year basis and has
regular blue chip clients including major banks, hospitals,
NHS Trusts, Legal Companies and Accountants
Capitol
operates from West London, Slough and Reading and offers
and outside personnel of fifty-six staff, including foremen,
HGV drivers, packers and porters.
Capitol
can handle all areas of office removals from large relocation
projects to small internal relocations, covering project
management, planning, colour coding and IT services. IT
equipment is disconnected, bubble wrapped and protected,
and placed into computer cages and moved via hydraulic
tail-lift vehicles and air-ride suspension.
Capitol
also offers a comprehensive range of packing crates and
can also assist with the packing of bulk filing/libraries
using specially designed trolleys, which house the contents
of a complete shelf on each shelf of the trolley. This
enables all filing/books to be kept in strict shelf by
shelf order.
The
following is the general format of the removal procedure.
1.
On visiting your Company, the Capitol Consultant would
assess your requirements for vehicles, staffing levels,
crates and IT requirements and submit a schedule of timings
and costs for all aspects of the removal project.
2. Capitol would then assign a Foreman, vehicle
and Drivers, plus the required staff to your project over
the agreed removal dates. All individual projects would
be overseen by the writer whom has been in the removal
industry for twenty-six years.
3. Leading up to the removal period, the Capitol
Consultant would visit site to check that there are no
alterations to the schedule and assist with general planning
and colour coding to identify all items to be removed.
At this point we would also discuss the IT de-commissioning,
packing, removal and re-commissioning which would be given
priority throughout the removal schedule.
4. Packing containers, along with coloured location
labels would be delivered by our Crate Hire Division prior
to the removal date at an agreed time, for staff to prepack
and label where necessary. Assistance with packing of
bulk filing, libraries/stores can be carried out by Capitol
personnel. This would be agreed, subject to your organisation's
needs.
5. Please note that all leased items at present
on contract hire cannot be removed by the removal contractor
unless agreed in writing with the suppliers. It is advisable
to contact photocopier companies, vending and any other
leasing companies you may have contracts with prior to
the removal date to ensure no confusion over the removal
of these items.
6. During the week leading up to the removal, the
Capitol Consultant, along with the Senior Foreman would
be on site to familiarise with buildings and staff, checking
lift access, exit areas, where protection is required,
and assist staff with packing if required. During my experience,
having a packer or two on site prior to the removal, generates
some enthusiasm amongst your own staff and encourages
everyone to be prepared for the removal at the agreed
time.
The
above is a generalisation of a removal and obviously requirements
are tailored to the client's special needs.
In
addition to the above, Capitol Commercial Relocations
Limited offers a complete joiner/system furniture dismantling
and re-assembling service as well as safe/machinery moves,
competitive crate hire and a complete IT service.
